Terms and Conditions of Dumpster Rental
- Care of Equipment on Site- The customer is responsible for the care of the roll-off dumpster. The cost to repair or replace any loss or damaged dumpster resulting from negligent use is the responsibility of the customer.
- Materials- ABSOLUTELY NO MATTRESSES ALLOWED! There are 3 different types of waste materials. Each one requires its own separate dumpster. No co-mingling of these wastes is permitted. 1. Construction Debris – includes bulky materials such as wood, metals, glass, and building components. 2. Household Debris – includes non-hazardous materials such as rugs, carpet, furniture, plastic, and general household waste. 3. Yard Debris – includes yard trimmings such as grass, tree limbs, branches, weeds, and leaves. NO DIRT. Any co-mingling will be returned to the customer for separation. Fines will be imposed on any co-mingling of materials. Fines will be imposed if mattresses are found in the dumpster. Customer is responsible for any and all material placed in the dumpster. No hazardous materials, tires, waste materials, liquids, asbestos, gas, oil, medical or bio-hazard waste, chemicals, paint cans (unless dry with lid off), freon, perishable items (kitchen trash with food items), mattresses or large appliances. TV’s and computer equipment such as desktop monitors, printers, CPU’s and keyboards CANNOT be put in landfills. The customer will be charged $25 per prohibited item. The dumpster may not be filled above the top edges. All items must fit inside the dumpster. Each load must be tarped. We cannot pick up any overloaded dumpsters. All customers will be responsible for removing any excess and will be charged a $125.00 trip charge.
- Weight Limits- No dumpster debris shall exceed 5 tons. Any dumpster with heavy loads are limited to half a dumpster to not exceed 5 tons. It is the customers responsibility to ensure they know the allowed weight limit for the dumpster they are renting and that they stay within those limits. Dumpsters that exceed the listed weight limits included with the rental fee will be charged a $65 per ton, prorated, overage fee.
- Rental Fees and Duration- Dumpster rentals include up to 10 days. A drop off and pick up date will be scheduled at time of reservation. There is a $10 per day fee for any days over and above the initial term but must be made at the time of the reservation. Pricing includes delivery, pick up and disposal fees up to the included allowance.
- Switching Out of Dumpsters- This is charged the same as a new dumpster rental.
- Dumpster Delivery- Customer is responsible for ensuring that there is enough room for Dump Runners, LLC. to perform the contracted services. Driver will make the best effort to place the dumpster in the location that is requested by the customer. If the customer request that the dumpster be placed on the street or anywhere other than the customer’s property, the customer is responsible for obtaining permits any permit fees, town fines, attorney fees or towing fees. If there is an HOA, the customer is responsible for getting permission for having the dumpster.If the driver is unable to make a delivery due to safety, lack of accessibility and/or refusal of the dumpster, the customer will be charged a $100 trip charge.
- Cancellation Policy- Customers must give a 24 hour notice of cancellation or they will be charged a $100 late cancellation fee.
- Picking Up of Dumpster- Dumpster will be picked up on the scheduled pick up day located on the invoice. Early pick up may be available with 24 hour advanced notice. If the driver is unable to pick up a dumpster due to safety, inability to access the dumpster or the dumpster being overloaded or overweight, the customer will be charged a $125 trip charge.
- Relocation of Dumpster- There is a $75 fee to relocate a dumpster to a new location within 10 miles, during the same rental period.
- Driveways and Property- Dump Runners, LLC. will use caution as to not damage any property during delivery or pick up of the dumpster, however given the weight and size of the roll off dumpsters, Dump Runners, LLC. is not responsible for any minor damages to driveways, concrete, lawns, trees or shrubs as a result of the loading and unloading of the dumpster. Dumpsters will not be placed in the yard or on the lawn unless customer provides plywood for placement.
- Payments- A credit card will be required to reserve a dumpster. The customer will be charged the full rental fee at the time of reservation. Any additional charges for fines, prohibited items, overloading of dumpster or trip charges will be charged at the time of dumping.
- Credit Card Authorization- Customer agrees to allow Dump Runners, LLC. to retain the credit card information filed at the time of reservation until the dumpster rental period is complete. Completion is defined as: dumpster has been dumped and any additional fines or fees have been settled.
- Acceptance of Terms and Conditions- Customer agrees to the terms and conditions listed above, acceptance will be agreed upon by placing an order or the the use of the dumpster. If you have any questions regarding the terms and conditions, please contact us by phone (919) 391-7858
